In Case You Missed: F1 75 Launch
Did you happen to miss the F1 75 Event? No worries, we’ve got you covered. Here’s everything you need to know:
F1 75 Live: A Unified Season Launch (Livery Images Below)
The O2 Arena in London hosted all 10 teams unveiling their 2025 liveries together for the very first time. Comedian Jack Whitehall lent a fun, casual tone to the event, while musical guests such as Take That, Kane Brown, and Machine Gun Kelly brought an added touch of spectacle. Among the highlights:
New Liveries: Every team unveiled the new livery for their 2025 car. (See images below).
Aston Martin’s James Bond-inspired entrance featuring Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.
Williams’ storm troopers marching across the stage.
Sauber’s drum line performance, which was both impressive and energetic.
Although some critics felt the driver interviews were rushed, the overall event offered a memorable kickoff to F1’s 75th anniversary.
Lewis Hamilton’s Transition to Ferrari
One of the biggest talking points this year is Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari. After a storied tenure at Mercedes, Hamilton is eager to secure his eighth World Championship title under the Scuderia banner. His former rival—and fellow Brit—Nigel Mansell has voiced strong confidence in Hamilton’s potential to end Ferrari’s long championship drought. Keep an eye out for Hamilton’s trademark #44 on the famed red car—it’s a shift that could shape the title fight dramatically.
Lando Norris: Learning from a Slow Start
Lando Norris provided both humor and serious reflection at the F1 75 Live event. While he engaged in a playful exchange with Jack Whitehall, he also acknowledged that a sluggish start to his 2024 campaign ultimately derailed his title ambitions. On the track, Norris plans to adopt a more assertive and strategic approach, particularly when dueling with fierce rivals like Max Verstappen.
What’s Next: Pre-season Testing and the Australian GP
With the glitz of the F1 75 Live event now behind us, all teams are turning their attention to pre-season testing in Bahrain. The Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne will then open the 2025 campaign. Expect exciting storylines such as Hamilton’s first Ferrari outing, Verstappen’s pursuit of another crown, and a field of ambitious challengers looking to make their mark.
